Nina OAJ, November 18, 2012

In addition to Nina finishing her Open Jumpers title (we’re still sitting on 2 legs in Standard, SOOO CLOSE both times this weekend), Tish ran a great Jumpers course yesterday (no q) and earned her second Jumpers leg today with a lovely q – she drove ahead of me and ran her lines like a Nina! No video of today’s Tish Q unfortunately.

Here is Lobo (Alkemi Beowulf del Roble LS) at 3 months, his mum Jan says he has worked his first track and nailed it first try! You’ll notice that his tail is a blur in every picture, he is a happy guy!

Ollie’s mum Pat sent me these awesome pictures of Ollie on his 12 week-iversary, and somehow I didn’t post them here, sorry Pat!

Here is Zhora at 3 months/13 weeks, she is awesome if I do say so myself: loves to work, scary-smart (she figured out Crate Games in maybe four treats), loves everyone. And I think she’s kinda purty too!

There is concern that ears are getting too small in this breed…I have singlehandedly fixed that problem! (She will grow into them!)

One of the things that makes breeding so rewarding is seeing your puppies in their new homes, living good lives. We have been very fortunate with all our puppies, and Lobo is no exception.

Lobo isn’t just a pretty face, he also helps his dad Jim with the gardening! Digging is his forte.

And when his hard day’s work is done, he has his foster mom Glory (who is very concerned with his welfare) as a pillow. Sleep well!

Ollie is settling in with his new mom Pat very well, he has already started puppy agility and has made new friends! His mom sent a picture of him with a toy moose for comparison, so we can see how he is growing. Ollie will hopefully be a NADAC agility dog!
