Alkemi "C" Litter
Bert X Zhora
The litter's registered name theme is air and space craft, real or fictional, starting with "C" (Cassini, Constellation, Caravel etc.).
Breeding took place by natural cover July 23, 2017.
3 males and 2 females born September 21, 2017!
Both parents have sound temperaments and nice working drive, Bert is doing well in herding after finishing his Grand Championship, Zhora is a wonderful agility dog, going to her first AKC Agility Invitational after just three months of qualifying time (and running clean three out of four runs!), and earning her MACH at age 3 1/2 and MACH 2 just 8 months later (Zhora was the #1 AKC agility Vallhund for 2016 and came 21st out of 135 8" dogs at the 2017 AKC National Agility Championship). Both parents have sound, sweet temperaments and working drive to spare. Puppies should hopefully have strong working drive, as such, priority may be given to performance homes (as always, I will do my best to match puppies to homes).
Bert has OFA Fair hips, normal elbows and normal eyes. He has a long tail (all puppies from this litter should have long tails). Bert is red, so we may get some red puppies! Zhora has OFA Good hips, normal elbows and normal eyes.
This breeding has a very low coefficent of inbreeding: 8 generations - 1.7%, 9 generations - 3.489%

We switched to "LT" for long tailed dogs with this litter, but because Cora's uncle is an LS (for the Swedish short form for long tail, which we used previously), her owner preferred to have two LS suffixes.
